Well rounded place with well rounded people. Great place.

Review from Sales Dept

listen to the people that work with the public. Take care of the people you have before adding new untested programs are introduced. bring your prices down and more people will want to buy. I dont shop there

I was hired quickly the had to wait over a month to start. I was thrown into a postion with little to no training and no help from my coworkers . I also recive very little hours and I am scheduled differently from what I was told when I was hired .

  • Patient and friendly also be a good worker

  • Custer service is a must. Having patience when it comes to couponers because they can and will consumer up to 2 hours at the register and cause a ton of voids and returns. Also conflicts with other customers. Must be willing to give up your personal life because at CVS its them first or you will get fired.

Asked to all employees at CVS Health

  • It pushes any issues from one area to the next avoid handling HR issues until employee is so frustrated they quit.

  • HR issues are handled by a call center who then passes it off to someone else who passes it off on someone else. If you are really lucky you may get a call back but generally you don't get your issue resolved. There is no longer any person you can speak with directly. They pass the buck to another person or another department. Never any resolution.

Asked to all employees at CVS Health

  • When volume is high they expect your life to be devoted to CVS. When volume is low they don't give you enough working hours to pay your bills.

  • Awful, I never see my wife. I'm a lead tech and besides myself there is one other tech with more than a year experience, I myself have 5. Since CVS only allows me 8 hours for training new hires they basically don't know how to do most of the job. It takes time to learn how to do things. The end result of this is that I end up doing all the tasks all of inventory, insurances etc...New techs never get better because at a busy store like mine you have to rush doing 500 RXs a day so there's never time to go slow and show people anything.

  • Nothing unique. They provide what all employers should provide.

  • It took 8 months to get my flex spending card, then, (of course) was unable to use by end of year. Also had my dental ins cancelled at end of each month in spite of premiums taken from my paychecks. Cancelled app'ts and took numerous phone calls to have it remain in effect beyond 1 month.Unique, but major nightmare. Also expected to be on call at pharmacy for 12 house on Sundays, for which I was paid $50.total. Hourly, not salaried. Not at all legal.
