What would you improve about your company's interview process?

A paid trial day for applicants.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Equal pay between depots. Less nepotism. Seriously looking at management's abilities and getting rid of dead wood.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Our shift is a good team. Everyone has their strengths we could work a lot more efficiently and productivity would increase if incentives were in place.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Dfs care less about their customers than they do about their staff. But they don't care, because if you want a sofa you buy it from them or one of their subsidiaries.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better basic salary in line with other depots. Overtime at more than flat rate. We would appreciate an understandable answer as to why we owe the company 7 bank days a year. We can no longer get points on our fuel purchases. Basically denying us the 1 free coffee a month.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Middle Management need to grow a spine. Executive management need to come out and deliver furniture for a few days. It's a well known fact that the company has exceeded its budget, and it seems the blame is being shifted onto those at the bottom whilst the decision makers get a bonus.
