Been there 9 years to date. One raise 3 yrs ago for running dept alone.
Review from Sales Dept
They are awesome but my boss isn’t really good at talking to me as an employee because he is very ru
It used to be opportunity
Flexible with time off, and vacation requests
That they always are helpful and know where to point me when I do not know something.

Keep me informed on what is going on with the company and any changes or updates. The training and weekly meetings
Cross-teach teammates so employees who work in designated departments can help customers after forming a friendly bond with them in their department. Many elderly or overworked parents prefer to work with one trusted employee for other items across the store's inventory. Plus, it helps fill shifts!
communication, accountability, planning, and overseeing
Review from Sales Dept
The way they speak to people is very disheartening, espically when I show up to work and do the right thing.
Understanding what goes on in individual stores
Overall accountability of required responsibilities
I'm very happy there there

Pay rate and a discount
The money is very cool.
mental health resources and free counseling
WE need o get more personal days
I believe the profits are made at the store level, but the executives and home office get the big salaries, not at the score level. Doesn't make sense
Pay time. Only choose 402K.
Review from Sales Dept
Not undervalued just would like a pay raise.
MANAGEMENT ESPECIALLY the woman merch manager, I have NEVER seen her use positive reinforcement . She does NOT want to acknowledge anything done positive but she will point out flaws in someones performance or project and let not just the employee know, but the whole team. and talk behind thr back
Review from Sales Dept
Some people get paid for doing nothing
Footwear team backs each other up when customer who's waiting for a shoe needs help at kiosk. But there's poor signage on how to look up requesting sneakers @ kiosk. Elderly folks want personal attention.
They all work hard, and are super customer forward
the personalities of my teammates are great, we all get along with the common struggle of oufr jobs being signifigantly harder than need be
Review from Sales Dept
they understand me and other kids my age. we connect and talk about stuff outside of work and i can go to them when i need help
Review from Customer Success Dept
With out store manager and asms the store runs perfect. And all tasks get done
we do not have meetings
Higher accountability with underperformance .
Indont have enough space, to say. there are a few coworkers that are the younger ones, who were defintely raised right, and are respectful and hard workers. they are the same all the time. i cant say that for majority of the employees and management they switch up all the time and act a majority
Review from Sales Dept
A lot of things on different levels
Practice giving everyone the opportunity to succeed
It's nice on my days off I can walk through store & say "hi" to everyone I know by name.
That my co workers are always positive and not complaining
Review from Customer Success Dept
Love most of the CO workers

Just need help need help

Intent is good execution is not
I believe everyone is dissatisfied with their raises the past two years. Prices on everything has gone up, our wages aren't keeping up.
The District Manager position needs an overhaul to include positive messaging. The Store manager position needs to be elevated and empowered as well as supported.
The store manager micheal hays makes it horrible and makes ppl so uncomfortable
Less stressful hours, cut out the good old boy network
The entire management needs to be wiped out and they need to be held accountable for Their Actions.
It was easy for me
the manager at the time was super cool and laid back
Review from Sales Dept
it was quick and answers were alright
Review from Customer Success Dept
Getting hired, and the new employee training was helpful
When I was interviewed it was hard to get though.
Review from Customer Success Dept
I think an improvement would be being more prepared and picking the best manager that has the best qualities to conduct an interview.
Stop making people come back two to three times before hiring them.
When an employee works 3rd shift and gets finished at 7am. Dont have an interview at 530 or 6 am . just busted my butt for 6 hours and being that late in the morning very tired
no manager was on the same page at all, nobody knew i was hired until i had told them. i went through 4 interviews with differemt managers because there was no communication on their end that i was hired
Review from Sales Dept
dont just hire women based on looks.
Review from Sales Dept
Selling and working with customers
interacting with my peers and assisting athletes to find the best product for their needs
Review from Sales Dept
the good people i meet and my good coworkers
Review from Customer Success Dept
Not working with negativity in the store
When management is respectful and thankful when the store sales are up, and treat their full time staff with appreciation
If you think 300 characters is enough then youre just as stupid as the company i work for
If everyone did. There fair share
We need to be staffed adequately.
Management. End of Story. No one wants to work for people who disrespect their employees and talk badly about them.
Train the managers to train everyone else.
Well grounded company values
