I have been a Rad Tech with DMI for a little over 5 years. I have been an area Supervisor in Charlottesville, VA for a year, and an area Supervisor in SC for a year and a half. There is stress, but most of that stress will lift when our regions are fully staffed. Overall, I love my job.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My favorite part is having a compensation package. It's a lot better than any other job I've had before.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They truly care about the welfare of their employee's, the prosperity of the company, the welfare of our patient's, and doing everything we can to satisfy our providers/clients. I truly enjoy working for them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Support from the top. My immediate manager Mike Joyner is always in the thick of the work. We put forth major effort to portray ourselves as part of a top notch health care imaging company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing a job well done at the end of the day. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy technology. My job as a SC Supervisor provides me the opportunity to utilize both joys and get paid to do so. I truly enjoy the smiles on my patient's faces.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They trust me to do what I can for them. They know that I will help them anyway I can, and most of them will step up and help above their regular hours when I request them too. Most of them work diligently and efficiently to do the best job possible, every shift. My immediate manager is amazing.
