This is my 4th PA job and the first I've wanted to stay at for a long time. I love this job, it's very valuable to me. The leadership isn't perfect, I don't agree with everything they do, but I feel their intentions are good and they really care. This company is impressively ethical for their size.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Doing a shadowing day "ride along" to see if I like it
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We help each other out, work hard, and have a lot of fun. Good working relationships and friendships are common here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is sufficient. Had higher offers elsewhere but I stay because I love the company and the job. I'm not aware of any opportunity for me to buy into the company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The EMTs are mostly fantastic. Some other APPs don't always practice as high-quality care as I would like, but are pleasant to work with. There is a good sense of comradery. The team helps each other out. We work hard and we have a lot of fun. I love working side-by-side with one other person (EMT).
