They need to stop micromanaging and let teachers just teach. They also need to have reasonable expectations for classroom performance, both of teachers and students. Academic coaches should be people with at least 10 years of actual teaching experience.
Compensation is not all that bad but teachers usually get paid once per month partly because payroll for thousands of teachers takes time. With Elevate you are a contractor, paid cash. And you're still paid once per month.
Twenty dollars an hour is not sufficient pay for a certified teacher, especially when you also have to spend your own time prepping adaptations of their poorly written content.
Leadership that is focused on its people
It would be great if they were trained properly to work with others, teachers and students alike.
There needs to be better training for the classroom coaches so that they know how to handle technical difficulties.
The company needs better training for everyone overall.
