ePayPolicy Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I really appreciate the flexibility that has been shown while the comp plan is still in develop. i.e. going back to pay on sales items from earlier in the year as the comp plan is being adjusted. It sends the message that management cares about comp and recognizes our work effort

Review from Sales Dept

Competitive pay, good insurance coverage options, and a flexible PTO system add up!

fair salaries, but lots of room for improvement for the health insurance and retirement benefits

Review from Engineering Dept

I think the annual bonus opportunity based on overall company and individual performance is great. Not all companies offer this across the board to all employees

HSA is fantastic. The flexibility that Hybrid work provides is amazing. But would be lovely to have some sort of ESPP or RSU program would be very welcome, especially at this stage in the business.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The good part is the pay, but lack of stock options is a little depressing.

Review from Finance Dept

Unlimited PTO, flexible work hour

Review from Finance Dept

The unlimited paid time off.

Review from Sales Dept

The vacation time and bonus.

Bonus, Lunch Drop, Base Pay, Happy Hour

Review from Engineering Dept

Salary and bonus are competitive

Review from Finance Dept

The potential annual bonus is very competitive for a company this size

Review from Finance Dept

Unlimited PTO and the ability to work from home.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The uncapped commission is great

Review from Sales Dept

Fair wage, flexibility, and unlimited PTO

Comp is good, would love to see a 401k match added

The way our managers take care of us, and the fact that we do have lives outside of the office, makes me feels like I'm wanted here and that my hard work does not go unnoticed.

Review from Sales Dept

Base pay is middle-of-the-road for the Austin market. Benefits are below expectations. Employee Bonus is a redeeming quality.

Review from Engineering Dept

Uncapped commissions and unlimited PTO

Review from Sales Dept

Salary is competitive and bonuses are nice. Holistically, between the lunch stipend, health insurance, events and just the general vibe of the company, it all adds up.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My comp plan is designed with "no actual data" to back it up. Therefore it was created and designed to change as the role develops. I have expressed concerns about the goal being too high and the pay being too low. Other organizations pay higher wages for this role. I expect more compensation.

Review from Sales Dept

The cost of living in Austin has risen significantly. Consequently, our earnings don't go as far as they used to.

Review from Engineering Dept

Recent planned (or unplanned) situations that come up and are expected to be handled fully by our team without much guidance or direction. We handle all the communications, de-escalations, retention, all while maintaining our current duties. Our job title does not accurately reflect our work.

Review from Customer Success Dept

We're on the low end of the industry standard

Review from Sales Dept

I think that enhancing ePay's retirement plan or offering equity options would help the company maintain its competitiveness in the job market as a viable long-term employment choice.

Review from Sales Dept

Our base salary is on the lower end of the market average. However our commission structure is fair.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I believe my ability to lead is a bit underestimated. In terms of compensation, my raise for the year was barely over inflation despite an exemplary job last year.

Review from Finance Dept

The overall benefits package is not as good as other companies that I have worked for. A look into better health benefits, company-subsidized benefits, or better retirement programs would be something that could help.

Review from Sales Dept

Better health Insurance. Base salary is not up to par with the amount of work that is put in. Also the salary for my positions is well below the Austin Market average

Review from Sales Dept

I don't feel undervalued by the people here, I feel as though compensation could be a little more aligned with industry standards.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I am able to see other positions available with full WFH options that pay significantly more. Additionally, the contributions I have provided are beyond the scope of the general job responsibilities. I make less at this job than I have in the previous 3 positions that I have held.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Yes and no. I think being as healthy as we are, matching our 401K should be a benefit that is offered. Remote/hybrid job options are also vastly available with other companies.

Review from Sales Dept

Would like to see more potential for growth and development opportunities.

I wish the starting base salary was higher for inside sales reps. It needs to be competitive and start much higher at 55K or even 60K per year depending on experience.

Review from Sales Dept

Undervalued: Expansion of role has not resulted in additional pay. Its one of those things that hard to gauge for leadership, which I totally get, which is why I feel more neutral towards it . I would love an expansion on benefits though.

Review from Finance Dept

I think I'm being undercompensated, but the benefits, comfort, etc. are keeping me around for now
