Overall this company is full of friendly hard working people. Many are always willing to engage in challenging situations to provide the best possible outcome when it comes to the customer experience, as well as the fellow employee experience.
Being left in the dark by management on the status of performance reviews and accompanying raises/bonuses. It's understood the company is financially challenged, but offering no incentive to be an engaged employee has had detrimental effects on morale. Complacency seems to be the common theme.
Communication to lower level employees regarding emphasis of their value to the company and how their roles are impactful. Seemingly all communications are in regards to upper level management activities only. Show employees what to expect, and how investments made in the company may affect them.
Despite challenging circumstances and increased responsibility paired with reduction in head count and unclear goals, the team takes these changes in stride and continues to perform well. There are a lot of experienced individuals within the team, who are always more than willing to help one another
Not a great balance of realization of employee value when comparing numerical results of production within the company as opposed to the people factor of that production. Employee morale seems to come second to raw output of numbers, regardless of the methods in which those numbers are achieved.
