Not really sure, they haven't spoken directly to us lately. Its hard to really answer this question honestly.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
providing clear direction, less red tape,

Defining a solid strategy forward. Directions change constantly. There have been limiting financial factors in the recent past which is understood, however the plan seemed to be to hang on as long as possible, rather than course correct. Hopefully that changes with the reorganization.

The leadership team needs to improve at Customer Service. Their plans and ideas are not pertinent to current day needs of the customer. They roadblock equipment that we need to service our Customer's. The equipment in the field that is near exhaust should be a priority. Too bad only 300 characters

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
To be brought up to CWA's current pay. I work for legacy side of company, it was the workers that made it possible to purchase Verizon. It seems company doesn't care about us. CWA is making 5-6 dollars more one the hour and benefits payed as well. I feel like ive been left behind in this process.

There is a definitive lack of training and lower than normal expectations for coworkers in other departments.

In general there needs to be more thirst for knowledge and more motivation to go out and get it. I wish I had more coworkers that inspired me to push even harder to grow.

NOT JUST ENCOURAGE EMPLOYEES TO VOICE OPINION, BUT ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT CHANGE TO INVEST IN UPGRADING INFRASTRUCTURE BY ADDING FIBER FOR RELIABLE AND FASTER INTERNET FOR RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS. RETAINING EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE IREPLACEABLE KNOWLEDGE WITH SALARY INCREASES AND BONUSES.

Less bureaucracy and red tape. Trust people to do the job they are hired for and support them in moving the company forward for the better instead of impeding their progress at every step.

All employees need to be shown that they are valued and that they company they are working for is behind them 100%. Our company also needs to show it's employees that they are working towards the future instead of just trying to pay back debt.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Leadership refuses to listen to anyone. They keep implementing changes without regard to the consequences. Additionally, they do not care when advised that it is a bad idea. Everything has been moved from local control. Access is taken away from people that can help. Moral is as low as ever.

Processes don't work, don't flow and no flexibility or desire to get things accomplished. It's like working in a union shop where people only do the minimum required and stifle any effort to expedite or work outside the processes. Gone are the days of individual empowerment to get things done.

executives make the decisions but the employees suffer the consequences when things don't work out. there are no accountability and everyone goes into self preservation mode. the environment becomes inward instead of outward.
