It’s extremely inclusive. All types of people, from many different backgrounds, working together for a common goal.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I love working for GM. I am working toward my Master’s degree in Lean Manufacturing in an attempt to advance further with the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They allow us to do our jobs. They no longer “bird dog “ us like years before. They know we have the knowledge and ability, so they just let us do our jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team includes everyone from the material drivers, technicians, skilled trades, and management at each plant, all the way up to Mary Barra herself. We all have a say in how things are run to some extent. We communicate well. We handle things effectively.
