Based on feedback from 150 Google employees about sign on bonuses, 45% said “I didn't receive a signing bonus.”In the case of employees at Google who did receive a bonus the most common sign on bonus received was $10,000+. Employees with a Doctoral or professional degree were most likely to receive a $10,000+ sign on bonus, whereas those with a high school education level were most likely to receive no sign on bonus. Lastly, employees at Google's Washington, DC office were most likely to receive a sign on bonus, in comparison to employees at Google's Seattle office who were least likely to receive a signing bonus.
