What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Experiencing the day to day operations of lower levels.
Leadership structure knowledge respect and a sense of security
Making confident and decisive decisions, communicate better to assuage concerns about job security and financial stability, treat employees with respect as people instead of expendable commodities.
They need to take the drivers into account. We're the heartbeat of the company. Without us, your passengers get no where!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Pay rate is fair and above cost of living
Company matching i think is 5%.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Becuase its your health, family, and relationship on hold to chase money
Because working for 25 years and still just make minimum wage and with all the stress and work it takes to keep this company running. It's not enough..
I am asked to put in a request for a holiday off, and given ridiculous guidelines to follow before it is approved. I work the actual holiday, and then have to all but plead for the time off.
if it was at least equal to market for drivers that do a similar job
I feel that most of the routes from a driver prospect are not designed to enhance the quality of life for the individual. schedules have them away from Home for extreme periods of time, while returning home can be almost more than 24 hours before they leave to return to their home domicile.

Helping each other and on time performance.
They are a collection different and very interesting people
They all care about keeping the buses running and the passengers safe.

We need to hold our union accountable for enforcing the contract
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Greatest people to work with
Greyhound bus company had been running for over a hundred years and still running.
That most of us understand that we are in this thing together.
I believe the interaction with the passengers is the most positive part of the job I think that the equipment situation has improved lately so I look forward to coming to work with a greater amount of confidence knowing that the possibility for successful trip has been increased

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Someone that can complete the job correctly
Not one senior driver has anything positive to say about greyhound they can't wait to be able to leave they're just there for the check and they always speak about how the new drivers are treated so bad and that's why it's so hard to keep new people
Stop putting so much pressure on drivers to be on time. When you rush, things happen

I like how Ms. Harris has a MBA. She inspires me to get one
It felt like people just talking and getting to know one another

The management is so eager to get drivers in there and out by themselves that they do not make sure all your paperwork and background check is complete before they start bringing you in to the office for training

Attitude of drivers quality of busses
Too much emphasis on what the driver is doing and not enough attention on how to make our job easier
