I think my experience at Guidewire is tainted by the department I work in. Leadership is broken and ineffective here. It is a highly critical environment.

I like the diversity of my team.

They take the time to communicate to employees.

I appreciate the stock packages.

I appreciate my own team.

I like the work that we're doing around diversity.

I feel like my team really does support each other.

I think they really do care about employees, but the pace is fast.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

No explanations were given on low merit increases. No trainings were given to managers either.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

My function is very political, and it feels we talk more about the people we work with than the work itself.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The executive team is the least involved executive team I have ever worked for. They are not present in people team initiatives, and have little to do with development and growth of their employees. I would not recommend working for them.
