GW has been an excellent experience, thus far. I could not ask for a better manager in Julie Eichenseer. While I know the product will eventually improve, I don't like to lose and we are not the best/ 1st choice at the current moment. That should improve but we have quite a bit of catching up.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Very good medical. Dental could be improved a bit but all-in-all, Mercer did a decent job .
What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team is amazing. While we are spread out in three different continents, I feel as though I know them quite well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A very open environment. There are very few silos. This is my first time working for a tech company - very, very different than the insurance industry.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think Mike is excellent. He's certainly not like any CEO I've ever dealt with/ had in my prior lives. You want to have a beer with the guy.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team members. Our product is a bit dated, so that creates issues. We were the first but now smaller, more nimble entities are not only more nimble but buying market share. I want to win, so the product will only get better.
