Salary and sales compensation is very good - well above market rates for my role and experience.
Guidewire analytics need better, stronger leadership - that can drive the change that is needed in the business.
Leadership that care about and listen to their employees, and equally as important care about and listen to their clients. Most of Guidewire is good at this (the legacy parts of the business) - but Guidewire analytics is extremely poor.
I work in the analytics part of Guidewire which has been built by acquisition. The culture is poor, products barely fit for purpose, and there is no strategy to address these issues. GW executives need to show some leadership and get a grip before it's too late.
There is a negative atmosphere within the Guidewire analytics part of the business. Individuals do not care about coworkers and care even less about our clients. The move to an Oracle style sales leadership (get money at all costs) is going to have a long term detrimental impact on the business.
