Hallmark Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Delivery most Honest Arrivals Timid

competitive, provided more value than I gave initially, allowed me to grow with a responsible foundation.

Free ornament every year. Discount on hallmark channels.

The insurance is a good opportunity.

Hallmark offers a variety of programs even for part-time employees.

Pay is very fair, and annual profit sharing is a nice touch.

Not eligible for this program

The cut backs have been huge

It's great considering I'm only part time

The price is fair and the benefits are great.

Review from Operations Dept

Review from Sales Dept

That they pay us for EVERY work related thing we do!

Review from Product Dept

Health insurance that is good

It's on par with other PT jobs, it even includes minimal life insurance. The hourly wage should be higher though

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are part-time employees. We are conveniently part time when it suits them but for the past year I have not worked part-time hours.

Right now I could make more at a fast food restaurant than I do with my Hallmark job. I do everything I can to help and do my part (though I am severely chronically ill).

We are paid the Ohio minimum wage, which is a joke. We ate expected to do a lot of work, and we are short staffed because no one will work for $10,10 per hour.

There are zero benefits to this position. Currently looking for another job. The expectations are not achievable. The hours have been cut dramatically and the work load expected has been doubled. They still expect a high standard of work yet do not give the time to achieve this.

Review from Sales Dept

Salary ranges should be made known...

Lack of growth opportunities and low pay

Pay is generally low, and it makes the turnover rate very high. Customers can be very picky and managers dont help with their agressive management style. Id deal with it if i was paid more than pennies a day. No full time available is a huge bummer

Holiday pay --other companies provide it

there are days i go above and beyond for my store and my work goes unappreciated or unknoticed. it isn't a fun job. i come home in so much pain and in tears every single day i work

Review from Sales Dept

Hallmark is the most unethical company out there. They need to learn to care about their employees that actually work...not sit at a desk.

It's part time.. no vacation, Birthday pay ?

Working minimum wage for expecting to work at a store that receives cases of shipment and only giving an hour, hour and a half to get job done and move on is unrealistic. Especially when we have to build displays on top of that. Shipment is VERY HEAVY and the job is worth more than minimum wage.

Review from Sales Dept

top performers receive basically the same as everyone else

Review from Operations Dept

Because I have to constantly do my territory supervisors work and if I don’t she makes my job harder on me and writes me up for petty things to get back at me. She’s a mean mean person who only cares about herself and how she can “sue” the next person so her house is pa

Review from Customer Support Dept

I gave them everything, worked so hard and made a profit. I gave them the best years of my life and they will turn on you to bring the leadership team's friends in. Ruthless.

I feel undervalued and it's not the High Standards that Hallmark stands for such as caring for your employees. Thank you!

Better benefits package. Medical is way too high for what you get. Currently no 401k match due to covid 19.

Review from Operations Dept

If I get a raise. since i have been with the company for seven years now

Review from Sales Dept

Pay is not worth the physical work or the type of customers we have to deal with sometimes
