Overall the entire leadership at Hannaford is weak. They do not possess the competitive edge that is needed to maintain or grow their company. They can only grow by having the parent company, ADUSA, buy other stores. There is also a bit of a mass exodus, which reflects poorly on top mgt.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
implementation of best practices and less cliqueish behavior from long-time employees.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most managers know little to nothing about their area of responsibility.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Actual teamwork and hold managers responsible for a lack of results. Hire competent people.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that soon, I'll take my boss's job due to incompetence and a lack of motivation.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Core Competencies, competitiveness, desire, goal-oriented. They seems to rest on their laurels due to store locations and lack of competition in brick and mortar.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Seemed friendly from the get-go, however, after being here for a bit, not so much. Lazy people everywhere. Which I suspect because the talent pool this far NE is limited.
