Overworked, underpaid, increasingly terrible benefits available each year. Good work ethic and results get you nowhere unless you click on a personal level with the right people. A lot of talk about progressive hiring, not much to show for it. Unfortunate as company has potential.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positivity comes off as toxic here. Most actual positivity comes in the form of the rare coupon on days with super heavy workloads.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers right now have been hired because they were family or friends of people already working there. Results in favoritism and turning a blind eye should problems arise.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Currently paying less than local competitors. After Covid workload has tripled while workforce has halved. There is no compensation or seeming understanding of this situation. Almost feels intentional.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Logistics and communication with warehouse, emailing corporate, etc are at an all time low. Skeleton crews being weighed down by late and often wrong shipments. Still no seeming of understanding these situations. Words but no actions. Kills morale.
