Harris Teeter is what you make of it. Regarding my dept colleagues? Most of us work together and aid each other when necessary. My store manager? Aids us but at the same time doesn't like our store for unknown reasons - as it shows in his lack of leadership.
What makes you most happy at work?
I'm not subjected to corporate politics.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team? We are mature when it counts to resolve conflict.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Diversity with various professionals from different walks of life and generations.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I don't know the leadership team other than how some members from corporate took time to personally introduce themselves to me - after seeing an overnight improvement in my department(s) I got hired for.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Well, if I were to compare my compensation package to my last job in tech? It would be a massive let down. After all, I went from $180K to $18 an hour. However, for the industry I am in I will say it is a fair wage based off my current demographic cost of living.
