What makes you most happy at work?

My coworkers and most of the patients.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews with all levels from peers to upper management

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone truly cares about each other on a personal and professional level. We want to help each other as much as possible.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My direct manager is fresh off the floor and hasnt forgotten what its like. She advocates for the staff. Upper management has completely most touch and cares only about profit.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Blatent disregard for staff retention. Bonuses given to new hires and nothing but a $10 gift card for employees for retention. Overtime incentives for agency staff significantly better then those for actual employees.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Nursing support. Improved nursing to patient ratios that take acuity into account. Increased control over doctors and the admitting reasons as well as reducing testing and treatments that can be done outpatient to reduce systemic strain.
