Always short staffed. They hire PCAs which are people with no special education instead of hiring actual certified nurse assistants. They have very high expectations from nurses with minimal resources which leads to cutting corners at the expense of patient care.

Better teamwork and more accountability placed on night shift. They often get away with things because management is only present during they day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Hiring enough people and creating adequate conditions for retention. Investing in a more modern and user friendly charting system would be a good place to start
