HEI Hotels Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

fair compensation, great benefits, Daily pay available, if needed

Paid time off and vacation time

It is good benefits especially 401k plans

i had no compensation package

401k matching and health insurance

Good for employees who need them

Health and Welfare benefits were good.

I love I have dental

Full coverage for myself and my family is my best perk.

Review from Operations Dept

They are extremelly fair and reasonable

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Receiving my earned vacation time all at once. So I can at least take a vacation

Management fought the union for over a year to give us a very small raise

I would like to understand the benifits more and would like a chance to possibly move up in the company.

The company messes with bonuses.

Unfortunately 300 words is not going to be enough from the constant frustration, degrading, plain disrespect I have gotten over this pass year

I would feel better if I received my paycheck in a timely manner. It's almost October, and I'm still waiting to be paid for August.

I an the accountant, took over group coordinator as it was presented as a temporary position, and helped train front desk/ work front desk even though i have zero front desk experience. I have been extremely vocal about my lack of training and received zero help.

Hei shows no appreciation for how hard their employees work. The general manager is absolutly no help to this property.

The fact that i have to run a property alone from 11pm-7am with little to no recognition and be given responsibility of being a manager without the title or pay is ridiculous.

We could attract better workers with better pay/benefits. I will stay due to the mandated state/city minimum raises. The company should really get out ahead of these mandated raises before they are forced to each year.

I don’t feel properly compensated for the number of hours I work and jobs I cover. There is a bonus plan that is impossible to achieve due to the workload and it is very disheartening that the corporate team is uncaring or unaware of the workload at the property leve

The benefits have gotten better, but still need work. Promotions are based upon politics rather than performance

The employees who work the hardest get promised rewards and compensation and never receive what they were promised. While other employees get incentives just for doing the bare minimum. It is a frustrating cycle.
