It was great as far as the people went in my different teams, but management above my supervisor and manager level all needed a serious clue as to real life situations.

We had a lot of diversity and a lot of valued input.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team was diverse and very supportive. They were wonderful people and great team members.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team above my manager were all "yes" people and did not fight for their people when it came to HP dismantling productive teams to further their bottom line. Dave Packard would have fired them all if he were still alive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They did away with pensions in the late 1990s and went with the industry typical. Since the new norm is to outmode and phase out job descriptions, it really doesn't matter whether there's retirement. With the laughable so-called "affordable" medical care, no one is satisfied with their "benefits".
