Compared to peers in other technology companies, much higher compensation can be found. Half the people here are always looking for opportunities to leave.
Put the engineers that are actually doing work first. Pay them fairly so they have the motivation to drive actual changes on the ground. Otherwise, all we ever will get is talk and nothing else.
They need to change the culture at the top, not with the teams under them. The culture of just talking around requests instead of actually addressing them directly is getting old and discouraging for all your employees
