Everything is going wrong, the company is in a death spiral.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything. Leadership has zero vision, completely focused on reaction then inevitably failing due to political infighting.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Intel only hires bottom-tier new grads to lower cost. Try hiring actually talented people for a change.

Everything. Rampant cronyism and nepotism needs to be purged. Gangster mentality for empire building is absolutely poisonous.

Rock bottom morale due to political layoffs. Awful compensation. The entire company is a H1B welfare dispensation organization.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation is bottom tier and management cynically deploys 20 year old stats to justify underpayment, while dangling a promo to fool engineers to work even harder.
