Of the 4 game dev studios I've worked at, Jam City Burbank takes the cake. It really is that unicorn company they tell you doesn't exist. Its the first company I've worked at where I can truly be myself and not worry about competing with my own coworkers.

people are really great and very collaborative. impression of the company is that management is a mess. communication from VP level down is scattered, erratic, unclear. people spend hours in meeting with little actionable points or any communication to teams. amazing potential here however

It's been great, I started as a temp but asked for an opportunity to try another field, and they gave me a chance. There's still so much I need to learn, but people are generally very helpful and support me to succeed. I like how people are encouraged to pursue their passion and branch out.
