We can laugh and have a little fun
working with like-minded individuals who share a creative spirit
Customers are super positive and friendly and are always worried about my health and the amount of effort I put into my work. They always worry that I am not being paid enough for what I contribute.
The customer is the best
Positive: we all just want to do a good job
The few employees we have are very good. We are still struggling though. We need more hours. Holiday hours at small stores should be 230 a week minimally.
Sometimes its slow, and you get to do some tasks
That we all care for our customers
Fellow team members. We value each other's contributions even if mgmt doesn't.
Excluding management, the team at joanns is very friendly and like a second family

You make good friends and get to know really good people , who come in as customers and leave as friends.
Everyone is nice to everyone else
The fact that we put our customers first so they become loyal to our store as well.
Review from Operations Dept
most of my coworkers are friendly.
Depending on people you work and the customers it's really good

Coworkers who care make a difference
Everyone is friendly and helpful

Leaving the building and not turning back

The customers. Interacting with them made the shifts pass by
My temporary manager and some coworkers
giving out enough hours to properly do the things they expect us to do (our stock is an absolute mess)
Listening to the perspectives of all parties involved.
More reinforcments or just support from others. It makes little sense to have a team and not take the time to have the team work together
PROPER MANAGEMENT TRAINING, BETTER POLICIES, HARRASEMENT TRAINING
People from the SSC need to see the damage they cause. Errors they consistantly make, from extensive signage changes to POG issues cause so many issues in stores and we're punished for them. There are no hours of labor to work with in general to run at the level they expect
Need to start paying people a manageable wage need to let us have hours to Run our store stop having ridiculous expectations
Corporate people are out of touch with reality and dont care because they arent the ones doing the work
Management needs to listen and be supportive! Retail is a high stress job. The company shoukd have your back.
Change executive team to one that is more ethical
We need a new store manager altogether!!!! Before the one we have now, the store was well run alone by the assistant. The new manager we now have has destroyed everything and hurts and depresses everyone. Both employees and customers alike.
Tell your managers to have common courtesy and to not act like a bunch of kids on highschool.

Train people to work within current systems.
Review from Operations Dept
Better aid for the company's employee's so there isn't so much negativity.
Review from Sales Dept
To listen to us, to hear our concerns, our ideas, our thoughts to care about us, as we are expected to care for "your" customers. You can replace us over and over again with someone new, but without us, how would that work?
Review from Sales Dept
Upper management need to stop cutting costs and being so 'cheap'
Review from Customer Support Dept
A new store manager and pay equivalent to your work.
Review from Sales Dept
Work is based on selling rather than building a rapport with guests. In an ideal work environment, employees would be measurably rewarded for being friendly and knowledgable.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Merit pay raises and more recognition for hard working people. Get rid of people who do not show up to work regularly.
Review from Sales Dept
More employees so we're not under staffed
Review from Sales Dept
Communication needs to be better, and management needs to start treating associates like human beings.
