Review from Operations Dept

Flexibility and hybrid work culture

Accomplishment, sense of collaboration, strong opportunities to grow/advance and fair pay/compensation

Review from Sales Dept

Friendly people, good pay, a chance to grow if I put in the work.

The work I do and the ability to see how my work effects bottom line of my business unit

I'm very happy to see the company achieve their goal and the company dedicated themselves to better world!

We have a strong environmental commitment

Finishing a quality product and being recognized by peers

Good team bonding and supportive co workers

co workers are mostly reliable and knowledgeable

Friendly coworkers, opportunities, team which can drive results

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Customers love the techs. Worst office personnel ever. No communication. Detached from their jobs working from home, no reprocussions, no accountability

The company has lost its vision, too big and too focused on money and greed. We are the highest priced and customers dont get the value. Now we are focused on selling things our customers dont need just to drive revenue. Just repulsive

High Turnover, Poor product development, Terrible billing, and very poor customer relationships. The attitude is employees can be replaced and customers owe us and need us more than we owe and need them. Vendors and contractors are treated with complete disdain and contempt.

They bad mouth them and don't give good service

More support needed for front liners to do their jobs to serve customers. Many reviews take time away from front liners but it does nothing to help them resolve issues.

We're very unorganized and unfocused. We sell too many unprofitable products that the sales team refuse to let us kill, because their commission is based on sales rather than gross margin. We need to streamline our products and redesign them to be more manufacturing-friendly.

Proper work life balance required

Moving away from the basics of the business. Cutting way too deep into people without reinvesting in tech to make jobs easier.

Invest in you employees. Stop treating people like they have no value. Stop taking and taking ,people are tired to the point McDonalds sounds like a good place to work

Customer focus is lost so attrition and complaints are extremely high.

HR is just puppet, top managment eyes are just closed, local management fire some staff to justfiy and retain his postion, Johnson Controls has been facing a lot of serious issues internally, KPA,KPI, Goal measurement is questionable, personal context preferred against real achievement,

Review from Sales Dept

Engage employees and understand the impact executive decisions have downstream. Fix the infrastructure. Global functions like Marketing are useless as they do not understand or engage the business. They only engage to deliver edicts - no support.

A few years ago, I was very happy to go to work every day. Currently, JCI has too many meetings and too much political junk, 30 to 40% of my work day is wasted on non-customer-related functions.

Review from Engineering Dept

im 65 and work w/a bunch of children incentive for senors its all about the number not the good customer service

Review from Customer Support Dept

Never secure and always rumors

Review from Operations Dept

There is not a clear direction other than meet your numbers mentality.

Review from Business Development Dept

Operating model of the company is not conducive to meritocracy

Short term thinking. Layoffs. Only compensation for the top of the company. Hard to fix that when there is no one left. Compensation for upper level management needs to be tied to long term success of the company and not short term gains.

Review from Product Dept

Too many silos, many negative attitudes, those that want to change and want to succeed are viewed as threats. the ceo needs to leave.

Review from Business Development Dept

Battery test technician is not preparing me for my future as I am in school for Electrical engineering
