Less hours and better salary. Let's criticism and less intrusiveness

Lead teachers are paid 50k which is good if it wasnt for the constant ridiculous demands that make the work week longer. Kipp will consume your life if you want to be a good teacher and admin will do absolutely nothing to help. NOTHING!

KIPP teachers and staff work at least 3x more hours than other teachers at comparable districts. And they are payed the same.

Comparable to public school salary, benefits are worse, but you will work roughly double the hours at KIPP versus the local district (I've worked the same teaching position at both). KIPP makes you do many additional unpaid tasks on the top of your contractual obligations.

They overwork us and they underpay us. There is no participation in the state pension fund.

There is no consistency. The vision changes from year to year. The average person lasts about 2 years due to high stress, and lack of direction.
