What is the best part about your compensation package?
Excellent medical and dental, personal spending account, daily lunches. Plan quickly adapted for COVID-19 to get access to remote doctors at home.

I think our comp is a little low in some areas, but still fair give the stage we are at.

The visibility given to us in the determination of our comp plans and packages makes me feel very sure that I am being paid fairly, and I feel comfortable talking to my manager about compensation and would feel comfortable raising concerns to them.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We evaluate compensation every 6 months, but the system we use for comparison is known to be heavily flawed and inaccurate. Our compensation is OK, but it's also below what a lot of other series C companies are offering for similar positions.

I've never worked with a better team and I genuinely enjoy coming into work every day. I think the number of people we've had hitting 3, 4, and 5 year anniversaries should speak volumes about how amazing this company is.

It emphasizes hiring for values and culture add as well as technical skill.

Not all whiteboarding, some technical but a lot of communicating too.

The interview process at Lever is about giving the candidate every opportunity to succeed, not about trying to make them fail. I was encouraged to find the solution in any way I could and work with my interviewer. It was refreshing.

They do something called a Career Trajectory interview which is a 3-hour interview where they dig into your background going all the way back to highschool. It really shows that they care about you beyond your technical chops and direct experience. They care about your potential.
