Collaboration with my team is my favorite part of my job.

My team is incredibly collaborative and supportive. We work together on a daily basis and respect each other.

My managers are engaged in the work of my team and I, but also allow us the freedom to be autonomous and creative.

The support from my managers and collaboration with my team is my favorite part about my job. I enjoy the challenges of working in an ever-changing, but essential industry.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team are some of my best friends. I truly enjoy collaborating with them on a daily basis. They provide constructive feedback, and are very supportive in the department's overall goals.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't necessarily feel undervalued, but I do know that my salary is based upon a local market average, rather than a national average. Our pay should be scaled nationally since we are a national company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our company is always trying to find ways to keep our employees engaged in the overall goals of the company. We have a culture focused on helping people - whether that be each other or our patients.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
It's evident that my managers generally care about the success and wellbeing of myself and my team. They are aware of our personal goals and find ways for our personal goals to fit in and work alongside the company's goals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
LHC Group has always had a prominent culture and strong roots, but has just started rallying employees around the culture. It is a positive culture with the overall goal of helping people - whether that be a patient or colleague.
