Most of my colleagues and the managing staff are extremely friendly and supportive, and visibly competent. I make a lot of mistakes, due to having attention-span issues. It's bad for my self-esteem. This is an entry level job at retail. What if this is the best I can do with my life?

The way the interviewer broke the ice by respectfully switching to informal language, of course, after I gave permission.

When being critical, they don't get emotional. When dividing labor they stay level-headed. When making demands they're staying reasonable. Above all - they genuinely care.
What makes you most happy at work?
Even though my colleagues are great, I really enjoy being able to do something right, so whenever I'm not confused, I feel competent. That's the best feeling.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are hardworking people, who fully accept me for who I am, even though I have flaws, despite some of them being work-related. They also seem to have significantly more forward-thinking, open-minded worldviews than most of the people around me!
