Stop following the trend! Be the difference! If you want the majority of customers to further be prosperity within your company, get rid of all the automated self checkouts you just put in and make the lanes ALL cashier available. Too, bring back your fresh meat counter.

Nothing. The company has gone to garbage. Store directors are awful. Market directors are awful. Not the same anymore.
Why work for Meijer?
Honestly, if you can find something better, go for it. If not, the starting pay isn't bad and benefits after 1 year in arent bad.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Meijer?
That there would be such little loyalty from a company you spend half your life with.

None really. If you're lucky enough to get in a store that actually has a good store director, it may be different.
