What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Meta is on a fast decline and are no longer showing the same cara for its employees and it is just sad to see what it have becomed over the 2 last years

The QA leadership team needs to focus on fostering a supportive, collaborative culture rather than prioritizing optics and compliance. They should value honest feedback, address systemic issues, and ensure decisions consider employee well-being, not just metrics or superficial outcomes.

Listening, accountability. Caring about anyone but themselves

My team focused too much on delivering quickly at the expense on our ability to deliver quality products.

communication. authenticity. compassion. honesty. kindness.

atleast i got paid reasonably compare to my last job

Its high, but also the only thing that keeps me in the company as im looking for new opportunities

Salary and RSU, especially when stock price is growing strong.

Equity is way more than any other company would provide

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

There should be an increase in the basic Salaries to survive Inflation and living Expenses

I have a technical role but not SWE, and seeing how many RSUs SWEs get at hire compared to mine is really depressing. My job has lower barriers, competition, and burnout, so I wouldn't expect comparable RSUs, but 5% the rate is so low!

Working so hard and taking overtime

increase pay, free housing for employees and workers, CEO to spread wealth to employee

Review from Engineering Dept

Higher stock and more base related to new employees

There is no other company that have this many tallented individuals but with the current heading of the company I fear this will change

Across sales, marketing, media theres great collaboration

Led by visionary VP, automation and utilization of AI is the best of class.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Some coworkers focus too much on compliance and optics rather than collaboration and substance. We could work better together by fostering open communication, supporting honest feedback, and aligning on shared goals that prioritize quality and team well-being over appearances.

Professionalism, feedback culture, collaboration and partnership, stop bullying and creating a culture of fear.

The coworkers are compliant, scared and timid

If i come high to my meetings haha

Maybe to be more attentive

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

The facilities and the time I spent with my team

the people in the company

Managers and the team are trusting, encouraging, individuals to test, and learn.

Trainings on DE&I, unconscious bias etc., are mandatory and people do have the awareness.

People are the best part

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

The company culture needs to prioritize substance over optics, value employee feedback, and address systemic issues openly. Leadership should focus on building trust, fostering collaboration, and creating a supportive environment that aligns with meaningful values and well-being.

Get the money and move out

Clear expectations and better support for teammates

There is just too much to do and not enough time to do it. Each step in the eng process requires a lot of work to complete

Managers/Leadership needs to fired and replaced with people who are on the ground.

Review from Product Dept

What did you like most about the interview process?

It's express your feeling about the job

the feedback during an interview

That it focuses on peoples skills and not only their credentials

Clear timelines and guidance from team

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

I would improve the interview process by focusing more on assessing candidates for alignment with company values and collaboration skills, not just technical abilities. Ensuring transparency about the company culture and leadership style would help set clearer expectations for new hires.

It is more of an IQ test that people can hack. It is not directly related to actual work skills

HR at Meta are like sales people, selling roles with untrue realities, which gives the outside world wrong perspective of the role. In general whole company needs to come down to real world.

Review from Product Dept

Stop asking repetitive questions from templates, evaluate people for their creative ideas

Give your employees the vision and ALLOW them to be themselves in it, LET them CREATE.

The words of incursions and good advice of my time again

Day-to-day interaction with colleagues os easy.

I’m happiest at work when I can focus on meaningful projects, collaborate with supportive teammates, and contribute to delivering high-quality results. A culture that values substance, open communication, and alignment with shared goals makes the experience fulfillin

Kind, smart and sophisticated colleagues, although not everyone. There are some colleagues I genuinely admire and look up to as my role model.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

Just an example Instagram is just trying to become tiktok. Meta products have lost their touch to their original vision.

Review from Product Dept

Privacy, innovation, branding, a lot of stuff

Review from Engineering Dept

Too many changes in a short time and legacy products are failing

everything is gouing wrong and u is dum dum

Lot of PR problems and everything that Meta does it perceived negatively

Too many middle managers, and layers of decision makers.
