  • 2 weeks vacation, 2 personal, 3 sick. You get an extra week at 5 years. You do have the week off between Xmas and New Year's which is nice, but MK is one of the only retail companies that does not have summer Fridays, which is extremely disappointing.

  • Extremely rarely. The annual merit based increase is 3%, which is criminal. It's not even a sufficient cost of living increase. Despicable and is reason enough to leave the company.

  • How harsh the environment is and how your personal relationships with colleagues directly affect your work performance. For example, if you have a poor relationship with someone on another team you need to work with on a project, and she all but refuses to work with you, you are the one that suffers. You are the one who is blamed for circumstances that are out of her control.

  • Open, mostly cubicles. Offices are reserved for VPs and above and are very few. Multiple breakout rooms but it's hard to get them. Stark white walls and black floors, very sterile and cold environment.

  • Very fluid based on conversations I've had. Promotions are random and mostly not given out. It's considered a privilege to work there in the first place, so they often scoff if you ask for a raise or promotion. Promotions are usually only given due to turnover. Career growth/development is not a priority for MK leadership.
