What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything about the way the org is run seems to have something that needs to get better. Treat roles as equals as all contributions contribute to the greater mission. Take better care of the people who are here. It's very sad to hear more and more about how people feel about being at Mixpanel.

The entire compensation package is very good

I am in a role that consistently feels undermined and I know that I'm not the only one that feels this way. I would feel better about my compensation if I knew that I could trust my growth to be properly managed.

1. Diversity, we lack a lot of diversity especially in EPD 2. A lot of times I can tell that the culture is very singular and not the most empathetic of different types of people 3. I notice a lot of "boys club" behavior that negatively effects my collaboration with people

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture at Mixpanel is very positive. I love that Mixpanel cares about fostering collaborative and positive working relationships, and especially their investment in ensuring that teams have opportunities to get together in-person multiple times per year.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Overall, Mixpanel is a toxic environment. I know this sentiment is shared by many people at the company. There is an unfair balance in recognition, a strong air of indecision, exclusion and hypocrisy from management. Mixpanel has a good product and great people, it's a shame to see it all wasted.

I don't necessarily hold out hope that I can achieve true career growth here/have my career managed well at a baseline. Do different or better management training, hold management more accountable and treat roles as equals!
