It's been mixed. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn new things and grow in my position. I just wish the upper management showed that they care about our property so that we can do our jobs better.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like my manager because she is understanding and flexible when it comes to what shifts we want to work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some of the members of the team are very hard workers who really do care about making this place better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I try to keep it positive because there are too many other negative things to bring you down, like rude guests and dramatic coworkers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that full-time employees should be offered decent health benefits, paid leave, and at least pay us what somewhere like Aldi is paying.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I wasn't really interviewed. They really needed someone on the front desk. I filled out an application and I think they did a background check. Once that was clear, they hired me.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I feel that upper management needs to be willing to spend the money to make improvements to our property. For instance, the roof needs to be repaired, we need security cameras, and these are things they've known about for a while now.
