What are some of the best things about your team?My team is very knowledgeable about testing, telecom protocols, and Linux troubleshooting. They freely share their knowledge.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?I get to keep learning new stuff. I don't have to repeat the same thing over and over again. My manager supports this.
What makes you most happy at work?Solving problems. Sometimes when I start I'm not sure that I can figure them out, but I feel accomplished when I can fix a problem or program bug.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Compensation should keep up with inflation trends in the economy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation? After 8+ years of exceeding expectations, I've never been promoted here. I've always been told it is organization related, and have never been told it is performance related.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Being a data company we really lag behind in using the position to our advantage, maybe already too late. There are arbitrary rules - 'back to office every day'. Salary not growing for years while inflation is rampant. Offices and positions outside the US basically don't matter / exist.
