My overall experience has been great at NWN Carousel. Every company has challenges and room to improve. A company that values their employees enough to listen and actually take action where needed is the most valuable thing a company can do to keep their employees. That's what NWN-C does.

There has been a lot of change within the company and processes over the years and there are still many challenges to work through. I am confident issues will continue to be addressed and the company will get even better with time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We help each other out when work is imbalanced.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the fast past work environment and how each day offers new challenges.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They take an active role to understand challenges/issues and take the necessary steps to resolve while keeping open communication throughout.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued however being paid based on performance and merit is more important to me than keeping an industry standard across roles.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The collaboration at NWN-C is outstanding. Within the past year, we have accomplished a lot just by working together and having a can do attitude.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They continuously evaluate the industry and pivot our goal based on industry needs which in turn keeps NWN relevant and thriving which ultimately increases employee benefits.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Feedback - our company take care of the feedback they receive. When issues are voiced, they are reviewed by our executive leaders and address, not ignored.
What makes you most happy at work?
The support. We get such a large variety of issues/work each day. Having managers that are readily available and happy to help work through those issues is key to success in such a large company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Team work oriented. We are cross trained for the most part allowing us to easily share our workloads during high volume times. We are also process driven which enables the team to handle most requests within a timely manner.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Others in my role within the same industry and with the same (or less) experience get paid around 10K more a year than I do. Sales would not succeed without the guidance and support of their inside people yet we get paid a fraction of what they get paid.
