Since the merger there is no longer a one team feeling. The company pushes hard to sell more and do more with less and less. People are let go and leave and are not replaced. The work just gets added to people who are already stressed out. Its always your not doing enough, here is more work for you.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Always available and listens to my issues or concerns. Seems to have little ability to make change.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with some of the best technical people I have ever worked with. The amount of knowledge here is outstanding, Everyone is always there to help out if needed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team is very close and work together great, the problem is since the merger every group is siloed and the different groups do not work together well. There is too much "Not my responsibility" attitude.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A yearly cost of living raise, the cost of living is out of control and what used to be good pay is now sub-par. The only way to get a raise is to leave and go elsewhere.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Tear down the walls between the different groups, people used to help out but now it our team, their team etc. If something is not correct they will not try to help figure it out they stop the process dead and will not touch until its fixed. Put ALL processes in writing!
