It's been a large learning curve, having come from 24 years at my previous employer. I'm surprised at the seemingly lack of guardrails on how deals are constructed and won.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing something to help the team and better support the stakeholders.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compared to other companies, specifically from where I came, the pay and benefits are less. However, I knew that coming in.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's nice to have a couple of affinity groups; however, it would be really great to have other offerings such as book clubs, faith based, hobbies etc.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The sense of helping each other We're in this together and work together to support the stakeholders, while difficult at times, supporting one another is in the team's DNA.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My Direct Manager is great. I sometimes; however, question the leadership in other areas, specifically the way deals are constructed and presented to customers without taking into account how they will be managed downstream.
