I have never been one to "drink the Koolaid" as they say - but I am all in on Openly. The balance of ensuring we take care of ourselves while also driving for results is better than any other place i have worked or even know of out in the industry. I don't plan on going anywhere in the long term.
What makes you most happy at work?
Signing on and interacting with my team first thing. The connection we make and our focus to get things done while lifting each other up is so energizing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are wildly transparent and we have VERY CLEAR goals and "north stars" to allow us to focus our work. We as managers are able to steer the team in the right direction based on their map, with the autonomy to lead our own team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
They pay is above market and the PTO is very fair and generally in or above market. While so many other things are great - we all just want to be paid and enjoy breaks from time to time and it is highly encouraged here.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are just kind. There isn't the insane work politics i have faced elsewhere. People are mature and understand that work is work. We focus on ensuring we get a lot done and push for it but protecting everyone's life outside of the time in front of their computer is so important and appreciated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Genuine good people with a wide variety of backgrounds. I have learned so much from the people here and they truly do a great job in our hiring process to ensure we are not only hiring the best candidates for the job at hand but ensuring they line up with our values is top notch.
