PlanetFitness is poorly run and mismanaged. There is rampant issues at my location and open discrimination toward disabled people.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is basically none really.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
It was fine i guess
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Minimum wage is fine for a job wiping down gym equipment.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management needs massive improvement to be able to train and support employees. Also reasonable effort needs to be made to help disabled employees and customers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has come together to share info to piece together the small bits of training we all recieved to fill in the gaps of knowledge.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Actually taking time to train new employees, taking responsibility. Its 2021 it shouldnt ve customer is always right, you need to be supporting your employees. Managementbstill sees minimjm wage employees here as replacable.
