I love the job but the pay and growth is not balanced to what you're doing. Also, this is a great part time or after school job but not a career and certainly not going to make enough to live off of comfortably if at all.

Spending my day with my coworkers and being social with members
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Interacting with coworkers and gym members. Being able to be active throughout the day. Pretty laid back.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some of my teammates are the most amazing people. Seriously have so much fun and love being around them.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication and focusing on team more than just higher ups. There's a huge disconnect between in club staff and the people above them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay for our franchise is barely above minimum wage but even in desperate need overtime is never approved meaning sometimes we can work 7 days a week and still not hit 40 hours. Many times I've gone above and beyond covering shifts and supporting management but there's never acknowledgment.
