Wish the company cared about the employees as much as they do the members. Retention is poor. Also the role of the team member ought to be paid more if doing janitorial work, sales, CSR, etc- otherwise distinguish those job titles and hire accordingly. Would help to hire floating staff for 24/7.

Our club specifically has great member interaction, and tries to make the workplace a fun place to be.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It feels like there are very few employees who actually want to work for the brand (In all honesty, it is cheesy)- so deciding to move up to manage an unenthusiastic group does not seem appealing, leaving options limited.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In general, the biggest downside is a feeling of being over-worked and underpaid. As employees, we only know a human being as far as 1 to 2 levels above us, and feel in the dark as far as what other promotional roles could be in our career.
