Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at RealPage

Environmental Sustainability

In 2019, eCarra served 689 RealPage employees while saving 339 gallons of gas and 3,000,000 pounds of carbon! They also plant a tree for every rider, resulting in 689 trees planted!

The toilet paper used at RealPage is 100% recyclable and Green Seal-certified and the multi-fold paper towels are 100% recyclable and ECOLOGO certified.

IST has collected 80 pounds of batteries from the Ambassador stations at headquarters to be recycled along with other technology equipment.

In the cafeteria, the team replaced the plastic to-go containers with china and paper plates. At the coffee bars, they removed all paper cups, promoting the use of the RealPage reusable tumblers instead.

131 RealPagers used the 10 RealRides bicycles in 2019. Additionally, the four EV charging stations has allowed our electric drivers to save 243 gallons of gas and 1794 lbs of carbon.

Community Impact and Philanthropy

The RealPage Philanthropic strategy consists of three key components: Strategic Partnerships, Charitable Giving, and Volunteerism.

Strategic Partnerships:
We build and sustain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance RealPage’s brand and reputation as a responsible corporate citizen and leader within the real estate industry. We collaborate with non-profit organizations and educational institutions that support our corporate philanthropy focus areas.
Charitable Giving: We encourage our employees to donate their time, talent, and financial resources to worthy organizations. Over the past two decades, our primary philanthropic partner has been the United Way. Thousands of RealPage employees across the globe have donated millions of dollars and volunteered countless hours to the United Way. Each employee will now have a simple tool, the RealPage Gives portal for finding the causes that are most important to them – making it convenient to engage in ways that are impactful both to the employee and the organization. In the future, RealPage will support grants to non-profit organizations (501 (c)(3) status) that align with our philanthropic focus areas.

Volunteerism:
RealPage employees are passionate about enriching the lives of others, offering their time and expertise, to strengthen the global communities where they live and work. From serving on non-profit boards, to sharing their unique skills and knowledge with non-profits, to working with local food banks, employee volunteerism is an integral part of our DNA and culture of giving back. In addition to enriching local communities, volunteerism provides our employees with opportunities for leadership, team building, and skills development.
************************
To make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work, our corporate giving structure focuses on two key areas: Education and Community and Economic Development.
Education
RealPage believes education, particularly the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), is a foundational component of success in the 21st century. We invest in programs that inspire and prepare students to excel in STEM and are committed to developing the next generation workforce. We also support efforts that increase access to education and enhance teacher effectiveness.
Community and Economic Development
RealPage invests in community-building strategies and programs that strengthen society and encourage lasting change. We focus on improving housing opportunities through targeted support of non-profit organizations providing homelessness, transitional, low-income, affordable, and permanent housing services. We also support initiatives and community-serving facilities that provide job and life-skills enrichment training.
