How employees describe working at RealPage
Verification process is a nightmare & lost us several customers due to frustration. Potential renters were asked to contact their place of employment multiple times for the same verification information, just to be told repeatedly that it was never received. Very disappointing, failed outsourcing

Love working at RealPage and our new CEO is amazing!!!
Review from Operations Dept
the quality assurance needs to change
They hire very talented, qualified, hardworking people, only to disempower, infantalize, and severely micromanage those same qualified people. I was excited for work each day until it broke my spirit. The main plus is fantastic coworkers - making it more of a shame to watch them quit one by one.
company needed to ensure fairness of treatment to all employees and uphold integrity to customers by not providing half baked products

What should I wear for an interview at RealPage?
Business Professional attire
How's the work life balance at RealPage?
Depends on your role in the company. Some people can put their work down after their 40 hours. Other people have to put in late nights and weekends. Some people are on call as well.
What do people at RealPage think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The only complaint I've heard, is all promotions, raises, etc - all have to be signed by a CEO or the owner. The company is HUGE, and the stack of approvals is very tall. A lot of executives down the line hate the process. Difficult to move within the company, and even more difficult to be compensated fairly.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at RealPage?
Increase staff, or automation, so there is more TIME for culture and events. I know I'm arguing against a business model - but a lot of people are feeling the heat. They want profit to like this: / And employee expenses to go like this: _
What's the interview process like at RealPage?
I'm not sure how interview processes work for every department. There may be a phone interview, but there's definitely an in-person interview for my department. You meet with 2-3 managers, they ask you some questions, but it's not too stressful. I've had interviews where you sit in a room with a bunch of senior techs, and they drill the life out of you to feel you out. RealPage isn't this company (as far as I know).
What interview questions does RealPage ask?
Depends on your position. I'd guess they're probably asking how you handle stressful situations, unhappy clients, and a little of your technical knowledge. Like every other IT place asks.
What are your coworkers at RealPage like?
Great, caring, people. This is the best thing I can say about RealPage. Your coworkers (at least mine) will help where they can. Chances are, your team is experiencing a lot of the same things you are, so they're very understanding. I wouldn't say they're selfish or conservative at all. I've never felt like it was 'Every man for himself'.
What's the office vibe like at RealPage?
You can't compare my office to the rest of the company. Each area has different managers, executive staff, workflow, etc. But usually we try to make a joke here and there when we can. Lots of sarcasm. But overall it can get pretty quiet.
What's the company culture like at RealPage?
The culture used to be very good. I work in the Cloud area. We used to be very cultured. Frequent events, social gatherings at the "cross roads" in the old building, etc. Now, IF anything happens, we grab the ice cream(? or whatever) and eat it at our desks while we work. There's a MUCH higher demand in work flow. As the company grows, budgets stay the same, which makes it a very uncomfortable for positions that can't be automated. It's taking it's toll on a LOT of people. I see people with their faces in their hands now, physically pulling at their hair, etc. It's super high paced now, and there is honestly NO time for culture. It flip-flopped/180'd completely. It used to be the most cultured IT job I've had, now it's moved down to ONE of the least cultured jobs.
