It is for the rich. It is a status store. If you shop there you are wealthy. It is not for working people. Employees who work there are eligible for food stamps. They are tone deaf to the issues of the poor. They just start new 'foundations' and do not change the pie. It is just slick marketing.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company that earns Billions. Why do they not pay their 'experts' an expert wage? No job pays 'experts' less then $25.00 per hour. The employees at REI are paid like Wal-Mart employees.
