I work hard, my back hurts, there's no coverage and I have to work while sick constantly.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Nothing stood out. Fill out application, call repeatedly for first interview, show up and chat, get hired.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Doing anything. There's no discipline or consequence. Alot of our employees, who are predominantly women, take extended breaks, show up late and leave early, or just do nothing. Management has been notified but refuses to act, making my store horrible to work at
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My fellow employees are wastes of space, management is absent, and clientele is horrific. We need a clean slate and more loss prevention. As soon as a new job opens elsewhere I'm out, and I'm not the only one trying to leave.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Almost all of our female staff goofs off and takes extra long breaks while the A Manager, and only supervisor, and the male employees are reprimanded for falling short in any way. The girls and the store manager need a wake up call.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've been working for rite aid for 6 years as of this coming March and make 10 cents more than minimum wage, my boss knowingly dropped my hours below required average for my insurance and when I had to use it it was declined. That needs to be seriously looked at and fixed.
