What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

There is no communication at all and no one seems willing to change that. The atmosphere is very chaotic and hopeless.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The most positive thing is when I get to go home. The entire time any of us are there, we hate it.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The interview process when I was hired is different than it is currently. I was interviewed by three different people and they each asked different questions regarding my work ethic and experience, so I truly believed they cared about finding the right person to fill the vacancy.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The company has shown on multiple occasions its utter incompetence at running a company and seems on the edge of filing bankruptcy. To make matters worse, they don't care about anyone at store level. To make it better, they need to start paying attention and listening to us.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need to start listening and taking complaints seriously. They always pile on more and more statistics to meet to the point that they contradict each other and you'll never meet them all. The leaders don't care about anyone but themselves and take down good employees to get a "Atta boy!"

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have to be certified to do my job in my state and I make barely above minimum wage. The cashiers up front who have been at our store less than a year and at all of the fast food joints around make more than I do when I've been there three years and have to be certified.
